Ecuadorean Explorer,

I am back down in Cayambe after my Nevado Cayambe climb on Sunday morning. Feeling fit and wanting to work my way down to Riobamba for more 5,000+ meter adventures. I have all of my own gear minus a caribiner and rope and would like to climb with you if you are interested. I will be climbing Cotacachi on the 19th or 20th before I fly out the 26th and may try to fit in Cotopaxi in my last few days. Happy hiking,

Lawrence

mugdimanEcuador in April / May

mugdiman

Hola,
I will pass through Ecuador in April or May (on my way from colombia to peru). I have already climbed Cotopaxi, Chimborazo and Antisana in 2005. I am very interested in any climbs there. If you plan a trip in that period, please write me at mugdiman@gmail.com. I would be particularly interesed in Cayambe, Iliniza Sur, El Altar, Sangay and El Reventador as well.
Would you be available only for weekend trips or for longer periods as well?
If you are interested I keep you informed about the exact date I will be there, ok?

Cheers Dennis, mugdiman@gmail.com

PARTNER?

I'm looking for a partner for some climbing. I have break from school, and if I had a partner I'd book a flight tommorow. I'm hoping to start in Ecuador or Bolivia before heading to Argentina in late Dec or Jan. I'd be able to be in Ecuador from Nov 24ish.

I know my shit, have my gear. Just need another person on the rope.

Please email me at hockettw at gmail

We can discuss abilities, plans, and logistics.

I will have 5 days in early Jan 2011 to climb a mountain. I am thinking Cotopaxi but would consider others. Probably nothing above that elevation because I will have little opportunity to acclimatize to over 3000m before starting the ascent.
Email me at mountainira@gmail.com if you or anybody else is interested.

I have a fair bit of experience on high Andian mountains and glaciers in general.

snowspark6hey, you still need partners?

snowspark6

Hey, just a quick and interested reply to your volcano plans. I am in Ecuador until may and have almost everything an expedition partner could ask for. Ice tools and mtneering axe, 1 each screw/picket, new 9.2 alpine rope, boots, crampons, stove, small pot/pan. NO TENT.

I have several years of guide training under my belt, and some work experience mountaineering in patagonia. I'm also a raft guide.

I have also been up to 6000 meters 3 times in the last year or so, so I know what to expect from my body.
I'm a good guy, pretty fit, lookin to bag as many of the big volcanoes as I can on my trip. I'm in Banos right now watching Tungurahua erupt!!!

Cheers!

snowspark6@hotmail.com to reach me directly.

ps. to anyone else who reads this, feel free to contact me about adventure partners!
