Description

I moved to California from Russia and live in Redlands right now. It has been a while since I did some serious mountaineering and rock-climbing, but I miss it a lot and finally decdied to do something about it.

I am looking for a partner for mountaineering and rock-climbing. I am interested in weekend or extended weekend (3-4-day trips) in California (to start with). I love outdoors rock-climbing and big mountains mountaineering, but also enjoy rock-climbing in gyms for practice.

I will need to restore my skills, but I am a quick learner and pretty athletic. I have decent endurance and good tolerance of altitude. I also want to think I am fun to be around. :-)

Please let me know if you need a partner or have a group that is open to accepting another member!

Would you be interested in anything in the High Sierra from the West slope, say out of Sequoia NP? I've been trying to get some of those peaks along the Great Western Divide Bagged. Most routes I'm interested are non-tech scrambles. However, I enjoy x-country travel. But that doesn't rule out a technical route from time to time. I'm more likely to plan most of my mini epics in mid-late July through August. I usually have at least one of my close friends join me but they're not always able and willing or available for the task. PM me if your interested.

Peak N of Lippincott (name?)
Eagle Scout Pk, N face Direct Route(tech) or scramble
Mt. Eisen
Mt. Stewart
etc, etc, etc....
