Description
Hey I am trying to get into Mountaineering but I don't know anyone in my area who's into it. I have a lot of experience with technical rock climbing, up to 5.13, but I am really interested in getting into some adventures in the high country. I live in in Placerville, and would love to bag some Sierra peaks this winter as well as Shasta and Rainier in the summer. I am open to any type of climbin but would love to get some alpine experience so if anyone is interested let me know and we can get some plans in motion.

| Hey I have experience in mountaineering with instruction from NOLS in BC and climbing Whitney but have limited experience in traditional rock climbing. Perhaps since I just moved to the Sacramento area we could get together and trade some knowledge and get out there soon and bag some winter ascents. I'm down for getting out there asap and in fact was just looking at a winter ascent of Mt. Tallac today. Well let me know. | | Posted Jan 24, 2013 2:45 am |
"Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan "press on" has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race."
