Hi, I plan on hiking Mt. Wheeler in the Taos ski valley later on this week. I am in Palm Desert, CA, leaving here probably Thursday late evening and acclimating in Flagstaff and doing part of Humphrey's to adjust to elevation. I did Humphrey's late this spring - lots of fun.

The off to Taos ski valley and am wondering if anyone would accompany me to the top. I am 60, a peaker, recently retired from feds and State of Alaska. Love getting out and hike and run, while this old body can still do it.

After Wheeler I will be on the road and heading back through Colorado, Utah, Idaho and Montana for a few days of fun, then off to Alaska (my 2nd home in Girdwood - Alyeska) for a trip.
