Description

Hello!

This fall I hope to take AMGA´s Rock Instructor class but I´m missing a few prerequisites. My plan this summer when I return to the U.S. from serving in the Peace Corps in Ecuador is to learn multi-pitch and trad skills (plus self-rescue) through classes in Colorado, then use those skills on as many multi-pitch trad routes I can get - starting in Colorado around June 2013. The goal is to lead or share lead on at least 50 multi-pitch trad leads (at least 10 grade III or higher), and lead at least 10 trad routes 5.10a or higher.

I have sport climbing experience but mostly TR in New Mexico, Washington, and Wisconsin. I have basic lead skills. Most of my recent climbing experience is alpine glaciated travel on high altitude mountains in Ecuador.

If this sounds interesting let me know and we can work something out!

Hi my name is Trent and I am interested in gaining experience with traditional climbing routes. I have limited experience in trad climbing but I do have experience in glacial travel, crevasse rescue and alpine climbing in that i spent 30 days in BC with NOLS and climbed Whitney. Let me know if interested.
