late Jan 2007, early Feb 2007. interested in moderate alpine routes in either the Sierra nevada of CA (whitney in winter, perhaps E face/buttress) or preferably a trip to Patagoina or Ecuador. I have about 12 days, my partner bailed and I would like to go to Chalten, to the Torre group and climb some moderate stuff (Auj. Guiallamet, AD+ for example) if the weather cooperates. If it doesn't, an expedition for 4-5 days out onto the icecap are of interest to me. also interested in Cotopoxi, chimborazo, etc in Ecuador. Looking for someone with some experience, and preferably someone who can help lead, although I'm willing to bear the brunt of that. If you're interested in Ecudaor please reply only if you have glacier travel experience.
