Description
Yet another ridge traverse that I'd like to try to do. If the snow conditions are safe, ascend Kessler Pk from Tanner Flat, and then follow the ridgeline from the summit all the way to the summit of Mt Superior, then descending either to Alta or backtracking down the valley bottom to Tanner Flat. The ridge is knife-edge, and may involve rappells, or at least bypassing some cliffs on steep snow.
I'd expect to knock this one off as a long dayclimb. Once again, it would be when I am in town at the end from around New Years until the second week of January. Avalanche skills would be required (i.e. hazard evaluation, rescue, etc.)
Any takers?
