Playtime at Sheosar, at ~4200m
A couple of Himalayan mermots playfully wandering near the Sheosar Lake in Deosai National Park, Pakistan. Spanning more than 3000 sq.km at an average altitude of 4100m above sea level, Deosai Plains is one of the highest plateaus in the world, and home to the rare Himalayan Brown Bears. Deosai means 'land of the giants' in local language.
