| Great day for a hike with the dog. Didn't even know this trail was there but it was well traveled. Great views. The trail continues up, you could hit South Sandia via this route. | |

| I can see this peak out of my bedroom window and have always thought it would be a fun climb! One thursday morning, it was snowing and I had time...so I packed my ice axe and away I went. The climb in the snow was fantastic, and I was the only one out. The only bummer was that the rest of the Sandias were shrouded in fog so the views were not that good. I was hoping the clouds would lift by the time I summited for some spectacular pics. Well, I'll just have to do it again... | |
