| This was the second of five summits Mike and I hit this day. The whole day made for a great taste of much of the best the Bitterroots have to offer. | ||

| Very, very nice day with Mike and Meleah! Also did Point 8766 and West Camas Peak. Not as well known as the "big name" Bitterroots, but...terrific peaks! Long day, but well worth it! | ||

| 2sep10 - Took my nephew, Joe, to visit the summits of Middle Camas Peak and West Camas Peak. A perfect-weather day contributed to another wonderful outing in the Bitterroots. 5aug10 - Climbed to the summit directly from the cirque above Upper Camas Lake. It is a great way to reach this summit. I also hit the summit of West Camas before descending. 30jun09 - Climbed 5 summits today - East, Middle, & West Camas Peaks plus Camas and Lion Point. A great early season outing. 7aug08 - Climbed this plus Point 8766 and West Camas Peak during a variation of the Four Lakes Route with Vernon and Meleah. The weather, which looked like it would turn against us, cooperated, but we were eaten alive by mosquitoes, gnats, and black flies. Still, they didn't spoil our outing. 12jul08 - Bob Sihler and I made this one of the five summits we climbed during a point-to-point outing which began at the Camas Lakes Trailhead and finished at the standard trailhead for Ward Mountain. 11aug06 - Climbed this summit for the first time with my wife and brother following the Four Lakes Route. | ||
