Beautiful cool day  Sucess!

Took advantage of cooler weather to summit this one. Came up the Cienega Canyon Trail, and followed the previous summiters directions for avoiding the bushwhacking. It worked for the most part. The best thing was seeing a mule deer buck with a nice set of antlers near the top! I wish the summit views were better, but all in all, a fun little hike.

Pino Trail  Sucess!

A nice trail run, capped with a short slog through annoying brush. 2 hrs., 2 min. up to the Crest Trail, then half an hour for the half-mile or so to the summit. Combined it with 9579 across the saddle.

Via Cienega Trail  Sucess!

A quick hike before work. Bushwhacking is not essential if you find the right path. I saw a turkey, and some awesome views.

via Tree Springs  Sucess!

Quick climb after work. Other hikers saw a bear nearby but he was not around while I was there.
