Point the Way

Point the Way

This friendly stone assisted in my decision to descend the "shortcut variation" vice University Pass after summitting via the North Face. Sure enjoyed the scree ski most of the way and marveled at the length of the moraine once down the chute. 12 Sept 09

Good bivy spot

This looks like a god place to bivy. Is it? Or are friendly stones like this one going to fall on your head. :)

This is on the south east ridge, looking south east?

Re: Good bivy spot

It could be a good bivy spot for an emergency, I wouldn't intentionally carry my house on my back up there! I climbed University via North Face and due to snow/hail/rain storm decided to descend south side to University Pass, so yes, this is looking generally SE towards University Pass...although the rock is pointing to the alternate...which I took because it's faster.
