Pollack, Siyeh, Piegan...enough said!

This simple scene quite blew me away—what a view! Left to right, Pollock Mountain, Mount Siyeh, and Piegan Mountain. Photograph from the north face trail up Clements Mountain, by Vernon, July 20, 2009.

Re: Great photo!

Thanks, Eric...

That was one of those scenes I was just fortunate enough to have the common sense to stop, point, and shoot. It doesn't always happen that way. Glad you reacted to it the same way as did I.

A metaphor

First a tremendous scene, on the scale of the grandeur. Though I also see it as a metaphor. For it is a statement that, no matter what barrier presents itself, then one must never perceive it as insurmountable. Especially when someone else might state that it is. Surely, all dedicated climbers realise this.

Re: A metaphor

Thanks, Ray...

...and good eye! The metaphor presented itself to me, as well. Glad it came across to you.
