These are the highest peaks of the Whitefish (or rather, MacDonald) Range - Mount Doupe is the tallest summit with Inverted Peak right below it.

Apparently the only thing I can find on both mountains is on www.bivouac.com, and these peaks see very few ascents; indeed, it's possible that Inverted Peak has only been climbed twice!

No doubt the mere presence of the border tends to "shut out" more people from going there.......plus it looks like the North Fork Flathead border crossing has been closed for many years, making it harder to directly approach these peaks.

But it definitely looks like country worth going to!
