Awesome Shot!

I'll be there in a few weeks...not the summit of Pyramid, but the Bells. Makes me anxious to get there. Thanks for posting.

Happy Trails,
Mark

pose

I was told that the rock is the spot where everyone is posing...so just repeating what others do....
Good luck with Maroon Bells. Are you going to do the traverse?

Re: pose

The actual Bells are not for me...yet. What I meant to say was that I will be in the Maroon Bells Wilderness. I should get 4 to 5 good hikes/climbs in - but nothing technical.

Having not seen any

other pictures on that spot, I find the shot very original, quite striking in fact. Another "must visit" place in Colorado on my list.

Re: Having not seen any

Pyramid has great views, but the hike/climb itself is on a loose rock... I did not mind, but some people find the exposure with unsure handholds and footing a little bit stressful. I will want to go back....
