Practicing crevasse rescue on Cowlitz Glacier Aug 7,1969 This was scanned from a slide at a time when scanning slides to digital was still rather limited hence the poor rendition. Still, it reminds me of what we did for several days and is one of the slides that survived a house fire. Yeah, I lost a lot of irreplaceable slides & books. Adi Weisensteiner, a guide from the Alps was one of the keys to our training.
