So you must have done this today. I am glad you got a picture of it because I wanted one for the route page.

I am not too proud to admit that I used the handle...

What else did you guys climb today?

Costanoan -- first two pitches were mossy !! Justin's first multipitch leads. He took p1 and p3 and I led the others.

I think p1 is the best. btw You may want to mention in your route page to not fall between the first and second bolt, or else you'll deck !!

Rob, are you referring to the Costanoan when you mention the decking potential or are you referring to Twinkle Toes? I don't remember thinking the first two bolts on the Costanoan were spaced that far apart, but it was a long time ago. I know that the first bolt was added to protect the opening moves, the hardest ones on the route.

I'm referring to pitch one of the Costanoan -- see Justin's summit log entry.

can I add to my "Mank" album?

I love the fact that whoever upgraded to a modern bolt/hanger also chose to keep the relic in place. Very cool :)

Thanks Radek ! I'd heard about this for years, and finally just had to go see it for myself :) It's really not that manky -- looked very solid in fact.

I used to laugh about Pinnacles being choss, but the place actually has a lot of fun climbing & cool scenery. I'm not surprised that it's part of the National Park system.
