Profanity trail

Looking down the top section of the Profanity trail as it plunges down the steep face east of the summit. By most standards, the Profanity trail is steep, wet, and rough, but compared to the Hell Brook trail it's pretty easy. If anybody in your party is afraid of heights, the Profanity route avoids the exposed spot just north of the summit, which you'd face if you were following the complete Long Trail to/from Smuggler's Notch.
