Prominent Point from the South
Long ago, my parents lived in Tucson. This is a photo of Prominent Point taken from their back yard. The true summit is the eastern of the double summits. The sharp spire in the shadows to the right of this is Finger Rock. There is an additional subpeak to the right of that (sunlit) that also makes a worthy hiking objective.

Your parents picked a good part of the
country to live in. I remember looking
at Finger Rock several times in the early
1990's, when I lived on the west side of
Tucson. The closest I got to it was the
upper end of Pima Canyon. I also made it
to the summit of Bigalow Peak. Nice
photo, and thanks for the memories!!!
