Pronghorn

Your fine pronghorn pic reminded me of an incident I had last year on a mountain road in eastern Oregon. It was at dusk and I was heading down a very narrow dirt road when all of a sudden in front of me an animal jumped out and started running. It was a pronghorn and I clocked him at close to 30 mph several times during the two miles the animal ran in front of my vehicle. I never put the animal in danger and was careful not to get too close but what a marvelous wonder a pronghorn is. It was amazing, the speed, the grace and the beauty. The animal finally just left the road & ran up a hillside.
