A nice late season hike before snowfall. Routefinding would be more tedious when this gets covered in snow.

Prospect Mountain

At night at after work and in the dark, I climbed Prospect Mountain from the south. There was a little snow to walk through, but it wasn't bad.

Service Road
Would have preferred the hiking trail, but I just hoofed it up the service road at the last minute. Had the summit to myself. Enjoyed the views, especially of Meeker and Longs! Great wildflowers, particularly prickly pear and sunflower.

Tram Route
My nephew and I wandered up to the radio towers while my parents were hanging out at the gift shop after we all rode the tram up. Nice little jaunt to stretch the legs, sure beats shopping for bric-a-brac in a gift shop! I guess seeing as we were paid tram customers, we weren't even really trespassing?

South Trail
Hiked up more out of curiosity than anything else. Kind of a cool, short little jaunt. Good views at the top but the constant hum from the towers on top was a bit...unnerving.
The rock climbing looked pretty stiff!! Some newer bolts.
