Ptarmigan Point Approach
Ptarmigan Point is one of several peaks that are walkups from the backside (Bighorn Flats) but pose challenges of various types from the "front." This photo shows the approach from Flattop Mountain, which entails a walk along the Tonahutu Creek trail (to the left from this point) to Ptarmigan Pass. From there, it's a quick scramble to the summit up the back side of this picture.
