Route Climbed: Normal Route Date Climbed: march 2017
After a bad weather retreat in 2015, we managed to climb this summit 2 years later in absolutely perfect weather. Late afternoon ski descent in still good conditions.

Armed with a topographic map and some information from the warden at Rifugio Margaroli, I decided to explore the mountain. There was still a lot of old snow, which normally shouldn't be there anymore by the end of June.
According to the contours, the western slopes didn't look too steep though, and besides, I had crampons and an ice axe, so I figured I had a good chance.
Early in the day the snow was fine. I sat on the summit for a long time, enjoying the views. I descended to Lago Busin inferiore, and by the time I got there the snow was soft.
