Punta della Vedretta

In the center of Sesvenna Group is a big green plain on both sides of the Schlinigpass / Passo di Slingia (2295m). Hiking there and to the near Uina gorge is a great pleasure. Just north of the pass and the Italian-Swiss border we are looking south. The impressive rocky peak does not even have a name - it is P. 2878m northeast of the less impressive but higher Punta della Vedretta (2954m) on the right. You are passing beneath both peaks on the normal route from Sesvenna hut to Piz Sesvenna. (July 2002)
