And if you ask me, which is the more beautiful island - Sardinia or Corsica - I can't tell you. Corsica has real high summits (for an island anyway), Monte Cinto has more than 2700m). But the limestone cliffs of Sardinia are also great. And you shouldn't forget Sardinia's "enchanted sea" ;-)

Untitled CommentAnother great page but I am just curious, what attracted you to Sardinia to begin with? Sounds like you climbed all of their mountains.

Untitled CommentWell, what attracted me to Sardinia? The story is long - we had been to Corsica two years before and they call Corsica "La ile de la beauté" Island of beauty. It deserves the name. My girlfriend and I quarreled about going to Sardinia - which I wanted to do (it's just south of Corsica) or Sicily - which my girlfriend wanted (she wanted to see Etna). Luckily (for me) it was hard to get appartments on Sicily - so we settled for Sardinia.
