One of the upper Kaweah lakes. This is pristine wilderness! The water is crystal clear, and the rocks have no slime. Earlier in the day I went took a luxurious 30 minute swim in a lower Kaweah Basin lake. That water was clean too, and a perfect temperature for swimming. I swam here too, but it lasted about 20 seconds. Kaweah Basin. Great Western Divide. Sequoia/Kings Canyon National Park, Sierra Nevada, California, USA. August 2008.
