Beautiful!
Came up from the basin to the east after backpacking Knob Lakes area. Views from the Bitterroots to the Wallowas. Hiked the ridge to Gospel Peak then out.

Took the ridge from the road
Easy hike up the ridge, nice views and up and out there feeling for minimal effort. Tagged Gospel peak while I was there.
Route Climbed: East Ridge Date Climbed: July 24, 2004
Easy climb on a level ridge with a short climb up the summit pyramid. Great views and weather, but he morning wind was a bit cold. The basin below is full of lakes with limited access; need to visit them some time. Headed around the rim of the basin to Gospel Pk on the other side after this one.
