I was on my way out of the Valley to drive back to Flagstaff and I called my friend Scott to see if he wanted to do anything. He couldn't make it, but he demanded I do this. It was fun scramble and there was some stuff on the south face above the saddle that was probably 4th class. This little peak didn't disappoint, and I'm not fooling. Despite not being all that high or prominent, the views of the valley on this clear day were excellent. I could see from the 4 peaks of the Matazals to Lukes.
