| Went with 3 others - clouds came in and out, so did the sun. Wind pretty much stayed - sustained high winds (knocked me over a couple times!) and snow/ice made this class 1 quite challenging! Not bad for my 2nd CO 14er (3rd total). We had the summit to ourselves and even the sunshine peaked out! Not too many other hikers on this frigid day. | |

| Not a usual Quandary day. We saw won guy from Chicago returning from the summit and on the way out, 3 campers below tree line. Generally a nice day with a few instances of wind gusts and clouds, but abundant sun and calm. This would have been more enjoyable had I not flown in from sea level the night before! But we went slow and it was a successful hike with an old friend! | |

| I have made two different attempts to climb this mountain in the winter, up the cristo couloir, each time, well has ended in a quandary. Any suggestions about dates for a good winter accent? | |
