One day in 2005 and several times since. Usually start here and join up with the Navajo Loop. There's something about this place, Bryce Canyon, I love it here and wish I lived closer so as to drink it in much more often.
After a day of skiing at Brian Head, I thought I might be able to ski the rim at Bryce....nope, changed over into boots and hiked a loop. Absolutely gorgeous with a layer of fresh snow on the red sand stone!
We left Zion very early in the morning to hike this trail at Bryce. It was probably about 40 degrees F in Zion. We did not then realize how high in altitude Bryce was - say hello to 8 degrees F. We stayed in the parking lot until the sun rose and the temperature climbed to 32 dgrees F.
