Hill and ruins visited on a day after summit attempt of Pili, in which we reached the 5500m shoulder and bailed due to wind. Views of Quitor and of the altiplano from this little hike are nice.

Took a walk out here on my last day in town to see the ruins, very interesting and atmospheric imagining the lives people lived here many years ago. Had the brochure mentioned the climbing possibilities I would have left more time and gone for the top too!

And the hike up can be tough, the sun is really strong and there is no cold like on the big volcanoes...
