Looks like an awesome climb - I cannot even comprehend what a grade 6 must be like ...

Awesome lead Dow! Man, leading a WI4 or TRing a WI5 to 5+ takes everything I have. Leading WI6 would be incredibly pumpy. Congrats.

At first I couldn't recall where I had seen this shot, but then I remembered. Our mutual friend (who's sitting on the big mushroom) sent it to me after her homecoming from the highlands of Asia. Please say hi to her from me.
It's a really impressive photo.

""You cannot stay on the summit forever; you have to come down again. So why bother in the first place? Just this: What is above knows what is below, but what is below does not know what is above. One climbs, one sees. One descends, one sees no longer, but one has seen. There is an art of conducting oneself in the lower regions by the memory of what one saw higher up. When one can no longer see, one can at least still know.""   --Rene Daumal
