Remarkable ...So, what you'd be looking at is Disappointment
Cleaver and Emmons Glacier on Rainier.
I never realized! Must have been a clear day!!
(When I climbed Rainier in 1984, I do remember seeing Yakima from the summit!)

Re: Remarkable ...Yeah it was a rare clear skies day and Rainier sticks out like a sore thumb around here. The lookout attendant on Oregon Butte told me you can see it from there on a clear day, its about 200 miles away from that point.
