Ramp, Cistern loop
Great loop. Did as a backpack starting at the Muddy River stated in my page. Getting all our gear up the chalkstone in Ramp was an interesting experience that involved a small rope, climbing up and puling everything up piece by piece.

Cistern and Ramp Loop
Did this as a loop hike down Cistern Canyon and up Ramp Canyon. Water was thigh deep and cold but not too bad. The big chockstone in Ramp Canyon has handholds that slant upward.

Cistern and Muddy Creek GorgeSeveral years ago, I hiked Cistern Canyon.
I also hiked the Muddy Creek Gorge when returning from Miners Hollow/Knotted Rope Canyon on May 3 2008.
