| It was a great hike nice view of lake and surrounding mountains. Trail was way to crowded with people (I felt like i was at Wal-Mart). It is the top 10 most popular hikes in Washington. | |

| Crowded trail including a tourist group from a bus, a ton of dogs, kids, and the like. Good spot for into to hiking, not a good spot for solitude, maybe better in winter. | |

| My wife and I did the Ledges again and this time went on to East Peak for the first time. It was a beautiful day with lots of people below the 3rd ledge...almost no one on the way to East Peak, but continuous snow above 2600 feet. | |

| 30 minutes from the car to the first ledge. The view down to Rattlesnake Lake is amazing. Lots of people, even on a weekday. | |

| After hiking around the West Tiger Mountain area in the early morning, I was still eager to go hiking. The hike to Rattlesnake Ledge, although not very technical, was a nice woodland trail. The views from Rattlesnake Ledge, even from the other "ledge" a short distance further up the mountain, were spectacular (once the fog lifted). It was such a nice hike that I decided to venture further up the mountain... | |
