Rattlesnake-plantain (Goodyera oblongifolia)
Rattlesnake plantain is a common orchid of moist forests across much of Canada and the United States. The thick dark green leaves are strikingly striped and mottled with white. This photo was taken near Red River, Idaho. July 2004
