| Redclound and Sunshine in the morning. Saw an elk at 14,000 feet, which I thought was odd. Attempted Handies after, but got stormed out. Bagged Handies the next day. | |

| Started at 4:30am from the Silver Peak route. We were worried about weather becuase it started to rain at around sunrise. The weather then cleared and it became a gorgous day. We got to the summit at around 8:30am. Then we went and tagged Sunshine. We had planned on doing Sun Dog, but the weather began to roll in. We then hung out in the old moraine below Sunshine for about and hour and half. These two peaks were my first summits in the San Juans and 14'ers 19 and 20! BEAUTIFUL area! Cant wait to come back | |

| This was sort of an unofficial meetup.com hike. Some of the group decided to head back to Denver, but the rest of us climbed the peaks. I think this was a little easier than Handies, but it was still pretty tough. I was the last of the group to reach the top. We rested a bit, then headed over to Sunshine. | |

| It was a pretty nice day in the area untill the winds picked up on the summit of redcloud then the winds got worse on the traverse to sunshine. I did enjoy the summit of redcloud the most because of the red color. | |

| Hiked the three from the Silver Creek Trailhead with my girlfriend Meghan. Awesome views of Wetterhorn Peak, Matterhorn Peak, and Uncompahgre Peak. I first climbed Redcloud Peak in August of 2006 with my friend Keith but we got stormed off before reaching Sunshine Peak. | |
