Life Will Find A Way

As a biologist, I am always fascinated by the persistence and adaptability of life in often hostile situations. For the easiest illustrations of this we can look to recovery after forest fires or volcanic eruptions, but there are more subtle examples of life scraping out an existence in marginal niches. If you have photos showing good examples of life, death and renewal together in the same photo, please consider adding them.

I've taken the liberty of adding some photos of others without prior permission. If you do not approve of this use, let me know and I will detach accordingly.
