The summit of Hawksbill Mountain is filled with plenty of ledges and cliffs that allow for some great scrambling opportunities.

Voted 10/10 | nice shot. I live less than a two-hour drive away, and have visited the Gorge too many times to list. But I have NEVER been on Hawksbill. Not once!

Hasn't voted | We combined it with Sitting Bear, which makes for a pretty easy day with LOTS of killer scenery. I plan on putting up a separate TR for the whole weekend so you'll see how we spent the day(s). | | Posted May 27, 2012 9:54 am |

Voted 10/10 | of the Linville Gorge. Don't remember if it was from you or a climbing buddy of mine down in OK. Great shot, Mark! Especially as a profile pic. | | Posted Jun 2, 2012 1:44 am |

Hasn't voted | Thanks Kiefer. The exposure wasn't as bad as the pic makes it appear. But the fall factor was still there! | | Posted Jun 3, 2012 12:07 am |
