Rhodendrons on Nurse Logs
I grew up in the Northwest and saw zillions on nurse logs, but for some reason I don't think I've ever seen rhododendrons growing on them. It seems like an obvious thing for rhododendron saplings to do, and here is my first example.

One of life's little pleasures, I guess.

November 2007 on the AT in the Smokies.
