| By "accident" we got on this route to avoid the snow on the back side. Well worth it. The top of the ridge is solid and enjoyable class 3-4 climbing. | |

| Glen Maxson and myself climbed this spicy ridge under full winter conditions after allowing a few days for things to settle from the previous storm. Camped at treeline and woke to a cold morning. Didn't summit Capitol this trip due to longer then expected times on the ridge. Highly recommended!! | |
