ridges between Krivan and Solisko

Now we are at the elevation of approx. 2250 metres. In 10 minutes time we are at Maly Krivan (2334 m). Vazecka dolina (Vazecka valley) with its upper parts detach us from less known ridges between Krivan and Solisko´s ridge. Over the Krivansky kotol there is twin peaked Kratka (2370 m) with its south ridge - Jamsky hreben. Behind Kratka, over the dolina Suchej vody, there is Ostra with its south ridge full of towers and ending in broad and not high Sedielkova kopa. Krivansky kotol and dolina Suchej vody are parts of Vazecka dolina, that is strict nature reserve. The last ridge on the photo is the ridge of Solisko with the highest Velke Solisko. Between Ostra and Solisko there is Furkotska dolina (Furkotska valley).
