Nice job. Are there some special routes or all ways are easy. Card with tops is very good, but small for easy reading. Regards ROK

Thanks! I will replace the map in the future. I have already done one on a smaller scale and will redo the Lienz Dolomites Map so that it will contain subgroups. I wasn't sure how to post them here because they were meant for the Lienz Dolomite Group page.

Routes: All are easy - there really are only meadow slopes. The only challenging side is the one to the north - the traverse to Böses Weibele. But still even this is only a hike, though moderately exposed.

Thanks, Bor seems to think it's a good ski tour destination. Though I don't ski it appears to me, too. So next Winter, pack your skis ......

BTW: you forgot to attach your Carnic Alps Main Ridge (EAST) Group to the "Carnic Alps-Group"

So, I have an idea! Also Sasa Gospic - Velebit from the Adriatic coast, told me, he didn't ski. What if you two guys come in Slovenia - we are in the middle - let's say somewhere between March and April - and we have a funny skiing course :-) You can be my guests in Kranjska gora or somewhere nearby, we shal walk up on few destinations (for that you need no knowledge), and finally - noone yet has stayed on the top of the mountain. You'll get down somehow :-)

Actually I did ski once, when I was 15 and our class at school went to Bavaria for a week. And I even own some cross country skis ;-) Your idea is great but I suppose we'll have to the Canarias again. Can you imagine to stay in Stockholm for the winter with almost no sunshine? I'm sure Judith won't be willing to fool around in the snow anymore.

An excellent page accompanied by equally good pictures and route descriptions. Interesting geological notes and detailed logistical info. Thanks for posting!

Thanks Fabio! The first picture is the Austrian flag. The server seems to be down again. Since this has happened quite a lot lately I guess I'll have to throw them out of my pages. Still I'm waiting for another day...

Nice page, Gangolf. Your usual high standards and some really good pics, too. So, what do those folks on the "African" side think about that? :-)

The Africans? I suppose they think they have the more beautiful mountains. But do they?

Thanks
