Ring tailed cat on the summit of Piestewa Peak, pardon the leg in the picture. I just wanted to get a shot of this animals tail.

Are you sure this is a cat? It looks like raccoon.

Ringtail cats aren't really cats, but that is the name of the animal. They are related to racoons and very common in the desert Southwest.
