| Was hoping to drive all the way to the pass, but a snow drift at ~12K' covered the entire road. Easy stroll up the south ridge from the pass. Continued on to "Peak of the Clouds", Spread Eagle, & "Silver." | |

| At 4am sitting around the camp fire at 11k feet drunk off my ass my buddy said we had to climb Rito Alto right now, so that's what we did. The stumble up went by quick, and the sunrise on the summit ridge was fantastic. It was surprisingly cold for August. | |
