Road drops 350'

After we got to the wrecked gate on the east side, we encountered a drop of over 200 feet and then another one of over 350' after that one. This one led to Skull Meadow, a pastoral setting that several wild horses were enjoying when we arrived. We traversed across the meadow until we found a gully that led to near the base of Granite Peak. Overall we had to regain about 600 feet both ways so our route added an additional 1200' to our days effort. This area was loaded with ticks and we picked a bunch of the little bloodsuckers off when we got back to our vehicle.
