Roan Highlands From Little Hump Mountain
Roan High Knob is the highest peak in the distance, just above my head. To the left rises Grassy Ridge Bald. Taken in mid-June. This is the ideal time to hike the area. Temperatures are moderate; flies and mosquitoes are very few, especially after a cold winter and dry spring.
