The southwest summit of Rock Peak, as seen from the northeast summit. The southwest summit is marked on maps as the highest point, although both summit hills have the same contour and no exact elevation has been determined for either. Hence, either summit hill might have the highest elevation and both summit hills should be visited to claim a successful summit.
With exactly 2000' of clean prominence, Rock Peak is one of Washington's mountains with at least 2000' of prominence... albeit barely making that list.
