Love the Tetons  Sucess!

Long, steep slog, but a great summit with (as always here) killer views.

Perfect day  Sucess!

Climbed up the east slopes on a gorgeous day in the Tetons. Plenty of snow up high still and a really fun ridge scramble to finish the climb off.

Early season  Sucess!

I climbed up the east face four times before and always in spring when it was snow covered. In May the snow usually starts at the top of the first steep section after leaving the trail. It is a fun glissade down when snow covered. It takes a fraction of the time to descend. I have never climbed it when dry and I am sure it has lots of talus and scree to hike over. A awesome summit which used to have an old park service register.

East Slopes  Sucess!

Scrambling on upper ridge is really fun. Quick, steep route to an awesome Teton summit, that you'll probably have to yourself.

Up the standard gully  Sucess!

Another one I did with some cronies from The Liquor Store back in the day. I found some wild onions and plenty of berries on the way. Then to the nice, airy finish of the summit ridge. One of the easiest Teton summits one can climb. St. John is just as mellow and just as rewarding.
