Rocky RidgeMade a 12.5 mile trek through the park, visiting Las Trampas Peak, Rocky Ridge high point and Vail Peak.

Combo with RamageWent to all summits, but did not climb the final class 5 rock on what looks like the actual highpoint as discussed above. Then went over to Ramage. TR HERE

Rocky Ridge ViewAnother wonderful viewpoint in the East Bay hills. I visited a couple of the high points and felt like a bird in flight at both.
Aside from a work crew up at the transmitter site, I saw four people the entire time on the hill, thank you very much. Again, a super-duper view to be had from this ridge.

rrnever been in this park, so decided why not ... great surprise. will be back, loved the views and isolation/lack of people. hiking inside canopies of trees was great too.

Several times in the 90'sWent to the 3 summits on a nice day between storms. Didn't have time to do the Loop Trail.
